Group Managing Director

Chris Botha is the Group Managing Director of Park Advertising - the owner of two of South Africa's most prominent media agencies - The MediaShop and Meta Media. Chris started his media career at Publicis after which he joined The MediaShop. He grew his media knowledge working on brands such as Nando's, MINI, Virgin Mobile, Absa, Shoprite Checkers and the JD Group. Chris was appointed to The MediaShop management team in 2006, and to the Board of Directors in 2008. In January 2010 he was appointed Joint Managing Director of the Sandton operation, and one year later in January 2011, was made Group MD of the entire MediaShop operation. Under his guidance The MediaShop has shown massive growth in billing, and initiated various industry first initiatives that has set the agency apart from its competition. In 2018 the group launched a new media agency called Meta Media. The group further launched a large number of new services including Econometric Modelling, to a full digital capability, Outdoor production, as well as an Integrated Marketing services offering.


Financial Director

Ncamisile Sigwebela joined The MediaShop in July 2010 as the Group Financial Manager and was later promoted to Financial Director. Ncamisile has always had a passion for analysing and interpreting numbers. She possesses various accounting qualifications, an Executive Development Programme and other Finance qualifications. Her career spans back 25 years from 1999 from various organisations including the CSIR, Nedcor Bank, Peu Group, Johnson & Johnson and SABC where she gained valuable experience over the years. She’s a dynamic, interrogative individual and highly skilled in Financial & Management Accounting. Ncamisile heads up the Finance Division of Park advertising with a team of about 30 Finance professionals. We (Finance Division) are responsible for the finance functions for all the Park Advertising group of companies.


Operations Director

Zambian born but with a good dash of Scottish and Irish blood, Seán Clarke qualified as an accountant before the mad advertising bug bit. When a former boss in an engineering company went to work at Ogilvy, Seán followed in his footsteps joining Ogilvy in 1988 and thank goodness he did! Seán then joined The MediaShop as Finance Director in 1990 when the agency was still in its early days, having been founded by Dick Reed in 1988. Today he is Park Advertising’s Operations Director, looking after pretty much everything in the IT, finances and general services fields for the entire group of companies including The MediaShop and Meta Media, with a team of 35 assisting him. Seán is partial to a game of golf and enjoys his off time most often in the bush.


Managing Director - MI Hub

Isla Prentis is a dynamic leader driving innovation at Park Advertising as the Managing Director of the Marketing Intelligence Hub. With a strategic blend of human and machine intelligence, Isla spearheads a team dedicated to empowering Park Advertising’s agencies with data-driven insights throughout every stage of their process. She joined the group in 2012 as a Business Unit Manager for The MediaShop and has been instrumental to building progression in the agency. With a career spanning diverse categories, she gained experience on key clients including Unilever, GSK, Samsung, Multichoice and Tiger Brands. In 2018, she moved into a centralised role across the agency portfolio driving strategic approaches and insight. Isla brings a holistic perspective to the advertising, media, and creative landscape. A firm believer that data is central to problem-solving, Isla has pioneered bespoke local tools and systems to integrate data seamlessly into agency operations. Isla's passion for mentorship, coupled with her strategic acumen and commitment to diversity, makes her a driving force in shaping the future of marketing intelligence and creative excellence.


Managing Director - Lucid

Yvette is a seasoned digital media & performance marketer with over a decade of experience in shaping the digital landscape. As the Managing Director of Lucid Performance, she's led our journey from inception to becoming a powerhouse with a team of 50 performance specialists in just 3.5 years. Yvette’s passion lies in driving performance marketing excellence, with a focus on integrating digital strategy and performance.  From achieving maximum ROI to leveraging martech for data-driven insights, she's helped clients across diverse industries achieve remarkable results. Yvette has worked on both global and local gems & giants in South Africa, leveraging her expertise to deliver exceptional results. Her secret sauce?
